Stone Cold Steve Austin to call out CM Punk in New Orleans?

The wrestling legend has been trash-talking WWE absentee CM Punk on his podcast the past couple of weeks, leading to rumours he may call the former champion out at the flagship PPV.

More likely however, is that he comes out and drinks several beers in quick succession.

Here's the word from the WWE:

'The biggest WrestleMania in history just got a whole heck of a lot bigger, now that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin has confirmed he will be there! The WWE Hall of Famer revealed the huge news in an interview with TMZ. When pressed for what his role will be, The Texas Rattlesnake said the WWE Universe will have to tune in to WrestleMania this Sunday on WWE Network to find out.

Steve Austin recently spoke with The Boston Herald to promote WrestleMania XXX. Austin commented on the CM Punk situation:
"Punk's fed up with not main-eventing WrestleMania."

Austin also commented on a possible match between the two:

"I could get more out of that guy than anybody else walking Planet Earth. He could have that ultimate 'Come to Jesus' meeting with me. Punk's been around for a long time and he's a smart guy, but he never stepped into a damn squared circle with the intensity of a guy like Stone Cold Steve Austin."

Those are very two unique articles and what hit me up that it seems like Austin might call out CM Punk at WM 30. I mean read those two article it just feels like he is trying to call him out. He is trash talking him and everything just like Rock did when Austin left the WWE in 2002. There's no reason for Austin to come to WM 30 just like that I mean they already promoted WM 30. Whatever the case is Sunday at WM 30 is must see. Is Austin calling out CM Punk? Will CM Punk return to WM 30? Find out on WWE Network or your local provider listing.
