CM Punk’s victory over Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel on Raw meant Paul Heyman had to step in the ring with Punk, as per a stipulation voted on by the WWE Universe. Unfortunately, before Punk could inflict some pain on his former friend, he found himself locked into a pair of handcuffs, then subjected to a vicious,ugly beating by Heyman and Axel. At Night of Champions, Punk will get his chance at retribution when he faces the duo in a Handicap Elimination Match.
