CM PUNK'S ROAD TO WRESTLEMANIA 29

PUNK'S HIGHER PURPOSE

The Undertaker rises again, returning to WWE just in time to defend his 20-0 WrestleMania Streak at MetLife Stadium. With a WWE Title opportunity now completely off the table, the sacrilegious CM Punk throws his hat in the ring as the next Superstar to challenge the revered Streak. The Best in the World secures the coveted position by prevailing over Sheamus, Randy Orton and Big Show in an action-packed Fatal 4-Way.

ULTIMATE DISRESPECT

CM Punk sinks to a new low, disrupting The Undertaker's tribute to Paul Bearer and offering condolences for his loss … at WrestleMania 29. The Undertaker reappears later that night, distracting The Straight Edge Savior during his No Disqualification Match against Bearer's son, Kane, and causing him to be pinned. As The Brothers of Destruction pay final homage to the legendary Bearer, Punk goes beyond the pale, using Bearer's symbolic urn to attack Kane.
urn, Punk drops the talisman, only to insist, "No disrespect intend."

FEARLESS OF THE DARK?

Claiming he's not afraid of the dark, CM Punk says he'll be the "one" in The Phenom's eventual 20-1 WrestleMania record, and he describes Paul Bearer's sacred urn as meaningless. Darkness befalls Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center and when the lights return, Punk finds himself facing the unholy rage of The Deadman. The Undertaker dislodges the sacred talisman from Punk's grasp, but Paul Heyman grabs it and races away, ensuring the urn remains in Punk's possession ... for now
